The Halloween Dance is this Friday, October 25th from 6:30pm – 10:00pm. You can purchase tickets in the foyer: Juniors are $8; Seniors are $6; Guests are $10.

 

Spirit Week

Spirit Week starts this Wednesday, October 23rd with “Wednesdays, We Wear Pink.”

 

SPC Cards

Student Council will be selling SPC cards until the end of lunch on Thursday, October 24th. Cards are $9 each. SPC cards get students discounts at many major retailers.

 

ESA Food Drive – Let’s Raise One Hundred Pounds of Food!

Please contribute to the ESA Food Drive October 7th – 10th. The donation box is in the library so if you are coming to School Council, please consider bringing a donation. The most needed items are:

  • baby formula & baby food
  • beans & lentils
  • canned fruits & vegetables
  • canned fish & meat
  • cans of soup or hearty stew
  • dried pasta & tomato sauce
  • macaroni & cheese
  • peanut butter
  • rice
  • tetra pak cartons of milk

Elections – 2013-2014 Student Council

Elections for the 2013-2014 Student Council are less than a month away, on May 24th.

Now is your opportunity to join Student Council and have your voice heard in your school’s community. All grade and majors are encouraged to run for a position on council.

If you want to be a part of Student Council next year, grab a form from the Student Council board (across from Student Services), and submit it to the Student Council mailbox by May 7th at 9:00AM.

Semi-formal the balance is due!

All students who put down a $30 deposit for a semi ticket are reminded that the balance of the ticket ($25 for Students, $27 for guests) is due today. There will be student council members in the front foyer at lunch to receive the balance.

All students who put down a $30 deposit for a semi ticket are reminded that the balance of the ticket ($25 for Students, $27 for guests) is due on Tuesday. There will be student council members in the front foyer on Monday and Tuesday to receive the balance.

Semi-formal ~ Letters to attendees

Yesterday, during first period, students attending Semi-formal received a letter from Student Council confirming their ticket number, table location, and meal choice.

If there are any errors on the letter, or if an attendee did not receive a letter, please inform a member of student council, or send an e-mail to [email protected] stating the following: Student first & last name, ticket number, homeroom, and any dietary restrictions.

Also: could a “Jordan” who has purchased a ticket please identify himself/herself to Jason Stephanian? There has been some confusion with your ticket.

We are really looking forward to the upcoming event on February 22nd at Atlantis!

Semi-formal Dinner Menu Finalized

We are very excited to announce the finalized dinner menu for Semi-formal this year, on February 22nd at Atlantis.

Dinner includes:

Leaves of Romaine with Cesar Vinaigrette

Baked Boneless Chicken Breast

Black and White Tuxedo Cake

(Vegetarians & Dietary Restrictions will be accommodated, but must be identified to a member of Student Council)

ESA raises $10,510.85+ for Inside Ride!

On Thursday at ESA students and administration took part in their first ever Inside Ride event.

As of 2:00pm on Thursday,  ESA students & administration raised $10,510.85 and donations continue to come in online!

Semi-formal

The first block of Semi-formal tickets have sold out!

Over the exam period we will be calculating how many more tables/tickets can be added to the evening.

Any additional tickets will be sold after exams (exact days TBA).

There will be a day (probably next week), where any issues such as meals, tables, ect. can be fixed. This is not an opportunity to buy tickets, only to fix problems.

Inside Ride update, Late Start, & Semi Formal

Inside Ride is taking place tomorrow (Thursday, January 17th)!  If you are interested in supporting our event, or a specific team or person, please visit www.esa.theinsideride.ca we really appreciate your help!

Today is a late start! and It is also the final day to buy Semi Tickets before exams. And Tickets are selling fast!

Gingerbread Decorating & Candy Grams

Come on down to the front foyer this Monday (December 17th) and Tuesday (December 18th) to decorate gingerbread cookies!

Student Council will also be selling candy grams, you can purchase a candy cane and it will be delivered to a friend in their homeroom on Wednesday.

Inside Ride signup now available

The Inside Ride signup is now available!

No reason for delay, go sign up now!

Team captains can sign up the whole team, or just set up the account, then members can join the team.

Team Captains must get a team captain envelope from any student council member in the front foyer Tuesday & Wednesday at lunch, or from Jason Stephanian at any time.

There will also be computers available to sign up Tuesday & Wednesday at lunch, just head on down to the foyer!
