Tickets are available here.  They will also be sold in the foyer at lunch.  With a donation of three non-perishable food items, you can get in to the show for only $5.  All donated food will go to support the efforts of The Daily Bread Food Bank.

Closing out ESA’s stellar run of 2017 shows is another edition of the school’s great pre-holiday tradition, The 60 Second Film Fest.  Featuring films by most filmmakers in the department, it’s a fantastic opportunity to see what’s been happening film-wise so far this year.

Cookie Dough Pickup – Splash orders

Cookie Dough orders from the recent Splash Fundraiser arrive on Mon. Dec 11th from 3:00pm – 4:30pm. Please make sure your son/daughter pick up their orders during this time or parents to pickup. The orders MUST be picked up on this day, as there is no freezer storage at the school. The orders will be packaged in one parcel according to the seller (student from Splash).  Thanks again for your support!

Breakaway Information Night for Parents – January 24, 2018

Breakaway is hosting an information night at 21 Strickland Ave. on January 24, 2018 at 6:30 pm.  This event is for parents, concerned adults, and professionals who want to know more about substance use or abuse.  Learn about:  drug education, generation gap, communication skills and problem solving.  See attached flyer for details:  AIN Flyer (1)

ESA Community Choir Registration is now Open – Please Pay by January 10th

ESA’s new “pop-up” Community Choir is starting up in January for six weeks! Rehearsals will be Tuesday evenings Jan 16 – Feb 20, 2018; 7:00 – 8:30pm, in the Choir Room (rm 115) at ESA (675 Royal York Rd). The final performance is still TBD but will be confirmed shortly.

You can now complete your Registration by paying your $60 Choir fee before January 10, 2018, via SchoolCashOnline at the following link: https://tdsb.schoolcashonline.com/Fee/Details/13000/153/False/True

You do not need to have a student in the TDSB to pay and you will not be prompted for a student’s name. You will however need to set up an account with SchoolCashOnline if you don’t already have one. Just click ADD TO CART and follow the prompts.

We are still seeking a piano accompanist if anyone is interested in volunteering or in a paying gig. Also seeking a volunteer to help with record keeping at rehearsal (small commitment).

Music and Music Theatre Silent Auction

We are very excited to offer a few items this year in a silent auction at all three nights of Festive Celebration. We have a yearly pass at PowerYoga Canada ($1000 value), a beautiful area rug ($1000 value), and tickets to sit at a Cabaret table in the middle of the action during the musical Cabaret (Feb 8-10). Place your bids on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening.

 

Music and Music Theatre Festive Raffle

All Music and Music Theatre students are reminded to bring in their raffle books and money this week at lunch to the music hallway. Please sell your raffle tickets. Prizes now include Leafs tickets, Raptors tickets, a ukelele, gift cards, gift baskets, and many more fabulous items. The final draw will take place on Friday, December 8 during Festive Celebration.

Snack Shack open Monday to Thursday next week!

Hello everyone,

In support of students attending Festive dress rehearsals, Snack Shack will run Monday through Thursday next week.

In addition to our regular items, we will add new nourishing food choices- mac & cheese, quinoa salad and ramen noodle soup* to name a few!

We are also excited to remind everyone that we now accept Debit at the Shack.
