Children’s Book Bank Book Drive

Further to the mention in the SESAT Yard Sale posting yesterday

We are, again this year, collecting new and gently used children’s books for the Children’s Book Bank in Regent Park.

  • We are looking for books suitable for early reader’s right up through Young Adult.

If you have any such books laying about that you are finished with and have no one to pass down to… please consider sending them into the Library for donation.

We will be collecting books until the end of May.

The 3rd Annual Garage Sale is coming! Please donate, volunteer or come to the sale!

Two main ingredients that we need to make this event a success…your donations and your attendance at the event!

We are hoping to fill 30 tables with gently used items  from your homes, garages and storage rooms.

Please take a moment and find a few or a whole box of things that you can donate.

You can drop off items at the trailer in the South Parking Lot:

Wednesay May 16         8-9am and 3-4pm

Thursday May 17           8-9am and 3-4pm

Friday May 18                8-9am and 3-4pm

Wednesday May 23      8-9am and 3-4pm

Thursday May 24          8-9am and 3-4pm

Friday May 25               8-9am, 3-4pm and 5-8pm

*If you can’t make any of these times, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or call 416-316-2143

EVENT TAKES PLACE:

Saturday May 26th between 9am -2pm in the ESA South Parking Lot  RAIN OR SHINE

ALL PROCEEDS from the Garage Sale will be donated to the Arts Majors equally.

♥ All age appropriate books will be donated to the Children’s Book Bank in Regent Park.

For more information about the Children’s Book Bank  www.childrensbookbank.com

♥ All remaining merchandise at the end of the event will be donated to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation.

So many ways to help so many people with this single event!

We hope to see you there!

SESAT Volunteers Needed

We would appreciate if we could have a few parent volunteers to help sell refreshments at Opus on Friday, May 11 from 6pm-8pm.  Please email [email protected] if you can volunteer.

We also need more volunteers to help with donation drop-offs and working the day of the Garage Sale.

Snack Shack closed for the rest of the year

Sadly it’s that time of year when the Shack Snack Ladies take their leave of us.

Rehearsals have come to an end and so it’s time for the Snack Shack Ladies to hang up their aprons.

Snack Shack has become a welcome sight to those who are staying for rehearsals, who need sustenance for the long ride home, or who just need the comfort of a beet brownie or a strawberry-banana smoothie.

Thank you to everyone who has made Snack Shack a success!  (Yes, that include you Snack Shack Ladies)

We will re-open in the fall once school life becomes routine and the after school rehearsals begin.
