The Art of Healthy Singing

Marianne Derow

Always wanted to work on your voice, but didn’t know where to begin?

Whether you want to develop a versatile singing voice, a more confident speaking voice, a free voice for the stage or just have fun, Voxworx Studio is the place for you! You will be taught in a healthy way where you will learn the proper use and care of your voice. Learn how to sing in a variety of styles, to develop a relaxed voice for presentations and lectures or to develop a free voice relating to the text for the actor in you.

In the studio, my focus is on helping you to develop a strong foundation in vocal technique with a clear understanding of how the mechanics of producing sound works. The act of singing/speaking is a physical one and needs to be approached in a healthy way. My number one rule is, “if it hurts, stop!” I’ll help you find all the ways of using your voice that won’t hurt and will take you to new and exciting heights.
