Dance Department Fitness Equipment Donations

Thank you to all of the individuals and families who have made donations of needed fitness equipment. Your help is very much appreciated and your donations have already been put into use!

If you are still looking to donate we are still happy to receive any of your donations!

Items of interest include skipping ropes, yoga mats, lacrosse or road hockey balls, golf balls, tennis balls, 9 inch toy balls, Pilates balls, phone books, wooden dowels, foam rollers. Items do not need to be new. They just need to be in a usable condition. Every little bit helps.

Thank you for your help and support,

Student Contest: Closes Tuesday Oct 3rd

We want to hear from you! Tell us in 500 words or in a short video, about why history matters to you, to your community, or to the nation’s future. We’ll share our favourite responses both online, but one participant will be invited to present their response live at the 10th Canada’s History Forum in Ottawa this November.

We think that history is essential for understanding and addressing contemporary issues. Engaging with the past helps individuals, communities and even nations navigate both the present and the future.

That’s why Canada’s History Society has dedicated the 10th Canada’s History Forum to making history relevant. It’s especially important during this sesquicentennial year to think about the many diverse stories that make up Canada’s history. Making history as broad and inclusive as possible is critical to understanding the future.

The deadline for responses is Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
