ESA Photography in Flash Forward 2013!

FLASH-FORWARD-ESAESA photography students have broken new ground by having their work selected for Flash Forward 2013, the ‘premier juried international photography competition’ for emerging artists from Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. In the journal’s nine years of existence, the 15 ESA artists are the first and only students to have ever been chosen by Magenta’s International jury. The students’ photography will be exhibited at Neubacher Shor Contemporary and their work will be featured in the book, Flash Forward 2013.

“Being selected for Flash Forward was definitely the best reward to the culmination of my four years at ESA”, said Carly Shiff, recent ESA graduate. “To be recognized and printed in such a prestigious publication is life-changing – as a person and as an artist.”

The 2013 publication and exhibition will feature the photography of 15 ESA students. An additional eleven ESA students are acknowledged in what is described as the “most prestigious juried international emerging photography competition in the world.”
