ESsays Creative Writing Blog: Student Editors Wanted!

ESsays is ESA’s own Creative Writing Blog.

  • Do you like to write poetry and/or prose?
  • Would you like to work with fellow ESA students in moderating and publishing student writing?
  • Do you have good technical skills?…  be that as they relate to the English language and/or computer technology and word processing.
  • Are you looking for a different way to earn community service hours this school year?

The job of student editor involves the following duties (under the supervision of, and with the assistance of, Ms. Wray):

  • Vetting and posting submissions to the blog.
  • Promoting the blog.
  • Liasing with the new creative writing club.
  • Engaging in fundraising activities in support of the print publication.
  • Preparing the content for the print publication.

Interested students should apply by completing this Google Form.  All students who apply will be contacted during the second week of school.

E.S.says accepts submissions year round.  So send us the absurd, the witty, the bold and the downright nonsensical.

Best yet, this blog culminates in an end of year book of letters!

Indeed hard copies of each of our first two published collections, Letters Vol1 and Vol2, are available for sale in limited quantities for just $5 each.   See Ms. Wray in the Library to purchase a copy for posterity.

With that said, what are you waiting for? Grab your plumes and start scratching!
