All Staff and students are advised and/or reminded – again – that there will be no wired or wireless network access at ESA during the school day tomorrow, Thursday October 26th.
This means
· NO Internet access
· NO access to Home Drives or Google Drives
· NO access to Shared Drives
· NO access to Academic Workspace
These restrictions are in place for the day while ESA is changed over the new Bell Wide Area Network.
· This is a case of short term pain for long term gain.
· After the conversation we should see significant increases in our network speed here at ESA.
PLAN accordingly as it relates to any work which may be due to teachers tomorrow…
- You will not be able to access your work – or print – for the duration of the downtime.
We don’t know exactly what time they are taking us offline, or how long it will take, so best to prepare for the worst case scenario which is all day…
