Creative Writing Workshop: Wednesday October 11th

REMINDER… The ESA Library is pleased to announce the return of one of our favourite workshop authors: Canadian writer David Poulsen.

David lives in Western Canada and doesn’t head this way very often… but when he does we are always thrilled to have him come in and run a Creative Writing workshop for students.

  • Award winning author David A. Poulsen’s writing workshops will give students useful, easy-to-understand strategies they can use in creating their own stories.
  • The one and 1/2 to two hour workshop focuses on helping young writers create real, believable stories that include all of the elements of good story writing including (and focusing particularly on) character and setting.

David will be here the afternoon of Tuesday October 11th, 2017.  The workshop runs from 12:30pm to 3:10pm, with a break for treats and a stretch in the middle.

  • Any interested students are invited to attend.
  • Fill out the attached form and return to Ms. Wray in the Library ASAP.
  • Space is limited.  We take a maximum of 25 students for the afternoon.
  • First come, first served.
