The Health and Physical Education program emphasizes regular participation in a variety of enjoyable physical activities that promote lifelong healthy active living. Students learn movement skills and principles, ways to improve and/or maintain personal fitness and physical competence, and safety and injury prevention. They investigate issues related to healthy living and participate in activities that are designed to develop goal-setting and decision-making skills. We continue to promote healthy active living to all of our students by providing a wide range of opportunities in fitness, sports, and intramural programming.
