Stand Up, Get Involved, Make a Difference, Dream Big!

Calling all parents, students, faculty, staff, alumni, alumni parents, neighbors and friends:  You have a unique opportunity to help create the school you dream of!  Did you know you are all eligible to join the ESA School Council and even, the Executive Board?  Come join us on Tuesday night, May 9 at 6:30 in the library as we launch new initiatives on equity and diversity, recap our successes this year, start other plans for the future and elect new officers or interim officers to get us to the fall.  We have many exciting programs underway and a strong group, but with many leaders retiring, so we need your ideas and involvement.  With an exceptional new principal and team, the sky is the limit!
The ESA School Council works with the TDSB, SESAT, school leaders, parents, students, alums and administration to build a great community.  We seek to support and engage our community through socials, educational programs, the discussion (and hopeful resolution) of issues, communication, alumni relations, capital improvement projects, safety/wellness initiatives and more.
Thanks to a PRO Grant, we will be hosting speaker Sara Dimerman after the meeting, starting at 7:30 to discuss Understanding Your Teen.
We look forward to seeing you.  If you have questions in the meantime, please email annieagar@aol.com or council@esainfo.ca.  Don’t miss this exciting evening!
