TDSB Summer School Registration:
- Registration will open in April 2016.
- Students must register with their guidance counsellor.
- Admission Criteria:
- REMEDIAL CREDIT: Students must have successfully completed the course in the current school year and earned a final mark between 35% and 49%. Students may take one or two remedial credit courses.
- FULL CREDIT: Only available for grade 11 and 12 students who have the prerequisite and have a minimum of 16 credits on their transcript as of June 30.
- TRANSFER CREDIT: Students must have successfully completed the course they are transferring from in the current school year. Transfer courses are required for students who wish to transfer from the following courses:
- Grade 9 Applied Math to Grade 10 Academic Math
FULL CREDIT: Classes run all day from 9:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
- REMEDIAL/TRANSFER CREDIT:
- Morning classes begin at 8:45 a.m. and end at 11:45 a.m.
- Afternoon classes begin at 12:30 p.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.
- Students cannot pre-select morning or afternoon classes.
- NEW THIS YEAR: Summer Foundations Program for Student in Gr 9 Applied Level Courses. A full-day activity based academics and athletics program focusing on skills development. Students who have taken Grade 9 Applied English, Math, Science, Geography and/or French and have achieved a final mark between 35-50% may take this program and recover upto two credits.
