I am sending an invitation to the entire ESA community to join me for “Because I am a Girl,” a special evening at ESA on Thursday, June 1, organized by Ms. Moorhouse and ESA students.
This is ESA’s second annual concert to benefit the “Because I Am A Girl” campaign, and features a wide range of performances by talented individuals and groups, all for this important and worthy cause! The performances take place in our auditorium on Thursday night at 7:00 PM. $10 tickets can be purchased at www.esainfo.ca [“Tickets” top right side of the screen] and also at the door.
All the proceeds from our evening go to Plan Canada in support of their “Because I am a Girl” campaign.
“Girls’ Rights are Human Rights. Every day, millions of girls around the world are denied their basic human rights – simply because they’re girls. Because I am a Girl is a global initiative working to end gender inequality and promote girls’ rights.”
